How it works: LED lights are directional so without these covers the light only shines in a downward direction as a soft illumination towards the door handle. These plastic strips act as a lens, concentrating the light internally in the plastic and illuminating the strips to form a brighter sharp line that enhances the look of your vehicle. Does not include lights! This is for cars that already have the optional BMW ambient lighting package. You will know if you have the necessary lighting package if you have a row of soft lights in your door panels. This product is only meant to amplify existing lighting. This kit is custom made to fit BMW Series 3 F30 / F31 / F80 models ONLY. Kit contains 4 pieces total consisting of 1 piece per door. Press fit in by hand, no tools required! Easily removable, does not alter stock lighting or doors in any way!
